Devcco is a company that develops projects and offers services in district heating and cooling in a global market. The company has offices in Stockholm, Sweden and Vejle, Denmark, and is led by its founders and partners who together have a very broad and deep competence to offer both customers and new employees. Our customers are local energy companies in the Nordic region as well as large international energy companies and organizations abroad.
Through a global network we offer services in the areas of Project Development, Business Strategies & Restructuring, Feasibility & Master plans and Management & Governance. We are involved in developing projects and businesses all the way from idea through operation.
In the Nordic operations in particular, we help our customers improve and develop their existing business, and our services cover the market, technology and organizational areas. Internationally, we collaborate with local firms and conduct development projects with the aim of finding and demonstrating efficient models for implementing district heating and district cooling.
About the job
We are looking for business-oriented consultants to work with our projects in the district energy sector in the Nordic countries and world-wide. We work in all stages of business and project development, ranging from feasibility studies to operating systems, and we tailor the project team for each assignment.
You will work with the following tasks:
- Consultancy assignments for ongoing and new projects
- Energy system design, feasibility work and management of pre-construction work both for our own projects and on behalf of our customers
- Technical and commercial due diligence
- Further development of our models and tools such as profitability calculations, energy balances and risk models
- Project management will be an important element, since in principle all work is run as projects of varying sizes
- High-level presentations of the results to our customers and participation in marketing and sales of our services
You will be working out of our Stockholm office, and the job will require some travel.
Who we are looking for
We believe you have a degree in engineering or equivalent and some or several years of experience working in the consulting and / or energy sector.
Ability to deliver high-quality results both individually and in collaboration with others is a requirement. Therefore, we believe that you are a responsible team player with great drive and initiative and with an interest in developing the energy sector.
Excellence in communication is a prerequisite for success in our business and therefore we want you to master Swedish and English fluently in speech and writing. Additional language skills, especially Danish and Spanish, is a plus.
